Bellagio Fountains, Las Vegas

The fountains in the front of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas are world famous.  Every 30 minutes or so (I can’t remember) the water shoots up, jives and jiggles to the beats of a song.  During our visit to Dubai we noticed that the fountains in front of the Burj Khalifa display a similar show – I guess “imitation is the finest form of flattery”.  These photos were taken without a tripod, hence the somewhat blurry background.

The Paris Hotel and Casino with its replica Eiffel Tower is another themed resort in Las Vegas.  Interesting tidbit: The replica of the Eiffel Tower is half the size of the real Eiffel Tower but only because the Las Vegas airport is in the vicinity.  The original plan was to build a full-sized replica.

However, I am quite happy with the results.  Next time I would like to take some shots from the Stratosphere Hotel which would give me a bit more of the whole strip.
